are you aware that (assuming you have run the windows install
script that comes with vim -- i think it's called install.bat) if
you right click on a file in windows explorer you get a context
menu that includes the option of opening in a single (existant)
instance of vim

i know using windows tends to make one double-click happy, but
possibly this knowledge can guide you to the Other Button
