It looks like you might be trying to set the current working directory
to C:\vim-text, since you tried resolving the error by setting the
'cdpath' option after trying to set the 'cd' option.

First of all, the 'cd' option is an alias for 'cdpath', so trying to
set 'cdpath' prior to setting 'cd' will do nothing at all.

Secondly, changing directories in Vim is not done by setting an option
at all. I think you want:

:cd C:\vim-text

or

:lcd C:\vim-text
