Why Ruby is not supported on Vim7.3 (needed for commandT)

Hi,

 

I want to use the commandT plugin http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=3025. However it needs ruby support which is not on Vim7.3. Anyone knows how to work around this?
