I've noticed from time to time, small portions of characters left
behind when I scroll on Windows XP. Changing fonts helps (I'm using
Deja Vu Sans Mono when I see the issue, I don't recall seeing it in
Consolas), and if I recall correctly, :redraw! fixes it (with the ! to
clear the screen first). CTRL-L probably does the same thing but I
have that mapped to something.

Normally I just ignore the problem, it doesn't distract me too badly,
so my memory may not be serving me well.
