failures checking dependencies when building vim

Hey guys
There's a bug in vim's source where it silently ignores failures checking
dependencies that it needs to satisfy the options turned on. I've been
talking to the core developers on IRC, and there's a patch floating around
to make that checking "strict", but I haven't been able to find it.

Do one of you has an idea to find it ?
