In your .vimrc add the following:
let g:dbext_default_profile_abc =
'type=MYSQL:user=jim:passwd=eee:dbname=whichdatabase:host=192.168.1.40:extra=-t'
let g:dbext_default_profile_def =
'type=MYSQL:user=bob:passwd=ddd:dbname=whichdatabase:host=192.168.1.40:extra=-t'

Then edit:
gvim dave.sql

At the top (or bottom) add:
//dbext:profile=abc

Then either run :DBCheckModeline (to test) or just re-open the buffer.
