Maybe it is. With Vim, the whole menu subsystem is a kind of aftersight,
sometimes that was added after-the-fact, even though in a console Vim
compiled with +menu (or, on Unix, when using a GUI-enabled Vim in
console mode) it is quite easy to access the menus even in the console.
