Re: esc and cursor position

Do you mean and the end of a line? You wrote something, hit <esc> and
the cursor jumps back one position?
I believe that is, because the position the cursor has been in insert
mode does not exist anymore as you did not type anything in it. There is
no space there or something, if you know what I am trying to say....

But I just noticed, that it also happens when you switch to insert mode
in the middle of the word and then leave insert mode again. I have no
explanation for that either. :(
