Re: Filetype detection on vim

Thanks a lot for all of your replies.

Now my vim is detecting potion file.

When I typed :filetype I got
filetype detection=OFF plugin=OFF indent=OFF
(Thanks Ben for pointing me in this direction.)

I used following in my vimrc file and now potion file is being detected
filetype on

Now what I will do is follow Tony to add my file type in safe way.
