Syntax highlight not happening on :newtab

If i opened a file <file1>
1)gvim file1.v -- syntax highlight is enabled
2):tabnew file2.v -- syntax highlight is gone
3):sp file3.v -- syntax highligh is gone


Can anybody tell step by step what i have to do to resolve this problem

Just for info::: ".vimrc" , "verilog.vim" file are in the same place
