Huh? What was against etiquette in the question quoted above? Maybe it
wasn't detailed enough, but we've seen that lots of times. It certainly
wasn't impolite, since the word "culprit" here means the responsible
vimrc line, not the responsible person.

On how to elicit appropriate responses, I found "How To Ask Questions
The Smart Way" http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html to be
a useful guide.
