How to Switch to or Resize Command Window?

Hi,

I'm using syntastic (https://github.com/scrooloose/syntastic) with vim/gvim to lint my code. Suggestions/errors are displayed in the command window. At times the suggestions/errors do not fit into the window. Is there a way for me to increase the size of the command window or to switch the context focus to it so I can scroll the content?
