Request: Treat ".emacs" files as Lisp code by default

Emacs kindly treats ".vimrc" files as VimScript. It would be nice if Vim reciprocated, treating ".emacs" files as Lisp code.

This is helpful when temporarily switching to a different editor to fix configuration, or when editing files on computers where emacs and/or vim are not yet installed.
