I am not sure I understand correctly. But I think, what you see, is what
is defined by the buffer-local variable b:browsefilter (which you can
read about at :h browsefilter). If you think, that another filter should
be added, you should write a mail to the maintainer of that particular
filetype (which for C and C++ happens to be Bram, so CC'ing).
