Re: gnome-terminal, azerty keyboard, accents problem

Hi,
Finally, I solved most of my accents problems after having done the following actions:
1. Set all locales to en_US.UTF-8
2. Set LC_ALL and LANG to en_US.UTF-8 in my initialization file (here, ~/.tcshrc) launched when opening xterm
3. Set Unicode UTF-8 via the terminal Set character encoding menu.
Actually I should repeat step 3 at each new terminal opening, but it is an acceptable constraint.
Now vim works as desired, and I see the accented characters on the terminal windows (line commande, etc.).
Thanks to Guyzmo, Tony, Lcd47, and Dave Hodgins for having replied.
Best regards,
Michel.
