No, it's literal. But you can create a mapping for this if you like of
course. Just as you would type

<C-R>%

in insert mode to get the file name, type the following in insert mode
to get the full file path:

<C-R>=expand("%:p")<Enter>

After this, the full file path will be inserted at the cursor position.
