Re: background variable always set to light

I get the wrong colors (e.g. the cyan comments), i.e. the same thing that i get if i load vim and do a "set background=dark" manually.
In any case some colorscheme change depending on your background variable, so you usually need to set it before loading the colorscheme (e.g. solarized)

yes, but xoria sets it to "dark", so why i read it as "light"?
