Re: escape key suddenly stops working

Sigh, sorry to waste your time.  First I realized that Launchy was a good way to test Escape (it wasn't working).  Then I shutdown some programs one by one and for some dumb reason Photoshop made the problem go away.  I'll have to do more testing to see if that's always the trigger.

Using gvim 7.3 (2010 Aug 15) on Windows 7.  For about a week or so I will suddenly lose the ability to use the escape key.  I'll be happily vimming and it does nothing.  I can use Ctrl-C and Ctrl-[.  If I check the mappings it says that <Esc> is mapped to <Esc>.

I've been using this version of vim for at least a year if not longer.  This isn't a new computer.  I don't believe it's a plugin because I've tried running gvim without plugins.

I'm guessing it's something else on my computer messing with Escape, but I can't for the life of me figure out another program that uses Escape to see if it's only restricted to vim.

A reboot fixes the problem, but I'd rather not have to do that every other day (which is about the frequency of the problem).

Any advice?
