RE: vim vs nano on editing system files

Dude, don't bring the holly war to the list.

Keeping in mind that in the early 90's, EVERYONE had to run as root on
Linux. There is NOTHING dangerous about it, as long as you accept the
risk that you can hose yourself. Otherwise, using `sudo' all over the
place is just as dangerous (and, most folks get in such a habit of doing
`sudo <blah>' that they don't even think about it anymore.

BTW, I'm on the other side of that battle :).
