If your font size is reduced as a result of setting 'guifont', 'lines'
and 'columns' will stay the same, and that means that the size of the
Vim screen (in pixels x pixels, cm², sq.in., or whatever) will shrink.
Conversely, if setting 'guifont' increases the font size, the screen
will get bigger, up to the limits of the GUI full-screen (usually
excluding taskbar etc.); if necessary, gvim will reduce 'lines' and/or
'columns' in order to avoid exceeding the screen size.

see :help 'sessionoptions'
