Hi John,

What is the meaning of the & in the \u&?

I see that if I remove it that my match is deleted, but I can't find the meaning of the & in this  context.

Perhaps sentences end with other characters, so you might try:

:%s/[.!?]\_s*\zs\l/\u&/gc
