That does it! Nothing more needed. :-))

Hey, that works too. The alternative syntax for that approach: <Esc>a is
a bit more finger-friendly than <C-C>a , my hands tell me.

I'll try Christian's patch later, but should grab the latest source
first - I'm only up to patch 281 on Vim 7.4.
