Don't use Google, use the help. In this case it is an option, found
with all other options at ":h option-list". Scrolling down to the
options that start with "show" you can see

'showcmd'      'sc'        show (partial) command in status line

Double-click (or hit Ctrl-] on) either the long name of the option, or
the short one, and you're brought to what it does and how to use it.
