Sorry if that was not clear.

The :args command takes one or more file names and/or wildcard patterns.

So I was giving an example with both file names, and a wildcard pattern.

It basically works just like the files and wildcards you give Vim when launching the editor, but you can do it with other files already loaded in Vim, and your :argdo command will only affect the files you specified with :args previously.
