Search a pattern backward from v:beval_lnum

Hi,


I would like to search for a pattern in backward direction from line of cursor v:beval_lnum and without movine cursor.

Is it possible ?

Enhance this code :
let previousfunclineno = search('^\(function\|organization\|data\)','bn')

"v:beval_lnum
