In Vim-7.2.339 and newer, it is possible to use the new command
line argument --startuptime to precisely help investigate this kind
of slow start-up. You may want to upgrade to a newer version of
Vim. Vim-7.3a BETA is available and Vim-7.3 is just around the
corner.
