While I happen to call a BasicTask() that echoes "foo" into Vim server named JOB_1, I don't success to do the same thing with this executed command from Gvim:


From console prompt : vim --servername JOB_1 --remote-expr BasicTask() => OK t displays foo

From executed command within GVim:
exe "!start cmd /c "vim --servername JOB_1 --remote-expr BasicTask()""
