I have an idea for a nice Vim plugin, but wanted to make sure nobody's done it, first.--
After hitting some hot key, perhaps <C-w>gf, it changes the status line for all panes and assigns and displays in red a one- or two-letter code to each pane. Typing the code focuses the pane.
It's actually inspired by the Vimium plugin for Chrome, which is, of course, inspired by Vim. Which is kind of neat. :)
Has anyone done something like this?-Jason
