How to match one OR another word?

Hi, how can I get this to work:

imap - <c-r>=synIDattr(synIDtrans(synID(line("."),col(".")-1,1)),"name")=~"(String)||(Comment)" ? '-' : '_'<cr>

And how can this be found in Vim manual?
