Actually, it can't. It's purpose is to efficiently join large lines
until a fix is available within vim, but it does not contain logic to
reset cursor movement (since it aims to mimic the :join command as
closely as possible).
 I am sorry that i can't help me about this problem.
Btw, is it really important about the the cursor position?
