This is not what is intended by the tip. The idea is to have a simple
mapping to search within the current function, from anywhere within
the current function. Although you can (and I do) just navigate with a
few extra keystrokes to the beginning/end of a function and then do a
search in the current inner block, the idea of the tip is to avoid
those few extra keystrokes.
