tnoremap <Esc> <C-W>N

This doesn't work very well yet. I'll look into triggering BufWinEnter
after setting 'buftype'. Once that is done then this will work:

au BufWinEnter * if &buftype == 'terminal' | setlocal bufhidden=hide | endif
