Trouble with right-to-left text

Vim has trouble placing right-to-left text in the right place on a line. For example, if the Arabic word for dog (الكلب) is inserted before some left-to-right text ("dog"), then Vim mistakenly moves the right-to-left text to the very end of the line, instead of where the file system shows it existing.
