:set nonumber
copy what you want to copy using Cmd-c
:set number
This will remove the line numbers so not so useful if you need to copy - say lines 532-821 - but there may be a way to automate this, however I am no vimscripter so if you want a mapping so that this is done automatically whenever you press a set key combination then you will have to ask someone else.
