Having someone hiccups with solarized colorscheme and bold

The font I use is Liberation Sans Bold. But I have set let g:solarized_bold=0 in my .vimrc (to disable solarized from displaying bold). But the suggestions dropdown of YouCompleteMe still "bolds" eg:http://i.imgur.com/LZbnw5f.png
