Thanks. I didn't get the fold search to work exactly as I wanted. Would have
been interesting to what a conceal function might do here.

Jostein, while this doesn't exactly answer your question, Christian Brabandt's Nrrwrgn plugin (https://github.com/chrisbra/NrrwRgn) does something like that. Thought I'd just mention it.
