write date in a new fortran file

Friends,
I am trying to insert date when opening a new fortran file, as shown below, which is wrong.
What is the correct way?

fun! New_Fortran_File()
:0put='!This is file : ' . expand('%')
:exe "date"
:put='Implicit None'
exe ":3"
endf
