You know that vim can read from stdin?:
cat file | vim - ?
So what is really missing to make you happy?
Also using goole and "wikia" as keyword you'll find pages like:
http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Using_vim_as_a_syntax-highlighting_pager
does this come close?
