Well, as Thomas Dickey said, your konsole version is 2.10.4 and 4.10.5
is your KDE version: the --version message said as much.

Yes, but the version number reported by the package manager is whatever
was deemed opportune when putting together the _package_ (which may
contain several executables, each with its own version) while --version
or Help→About let you find the _program_ version, which is not
necessarily the same. Here, konsole 2.8.5 is part of a package named
konsole-4.8.5-2.4.1-x86_64.rpm (i.e. package "konsole" version
"4.8.5-2.4.1" architecture "x86_64"); that package includes 41 files,
among which /usr/bin/konsole (of version 2.8.5, as we saw),
/usr/bin/konsoleprofile and three 64-bit .so libraries.
