You could write this very simply. Just write a plugin that uses the
BufEnter autocmd to create a shortcut to the current file in
"C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Recent". (Hmmm... there used to
be a command "shortcut" but I don't see that my WinXP here has it any
more.)
