Organization of key mappings

Hi group,

I recently installed another cool plugin but it adds a whole bunch of
new key mappings and overwrites some of my own, which is kind of annoying.

Can you guys tell me how you organize your key mappings? When installing
a new plugin to you go through the code and edit the keymappings? Or is
there some other way to organize the mappings. This gets really annoying
always to have to check the key mappings when installing a new plugin.
