Hello,
New to both Vim and R (more familiar with the later), and I'm trying to get vim-r-plugin-110805 to work on my machine.
Normally I use pathogen to handle my plugins, but this install seems a bit more complicated.
I've read the installation document, but I'm still confused on how to install this plugin.
I Vim 7.3 installed on my Windows 7 64-bit machine in the x86 folder and everything in vim/gvim works fine, and I've completed the following steps to install vim-r-plugin-110805:
1.) installed Python 2.7 (32-bit)
2.) downloaded and ran pywin32-216.1.win32-py3.2.exe
3.) downloaded vim-r-plugin-110805 zip file
Everything seems to be fine up to this point, but to finish the install:
1.) Do I need to extract the vim-r-plugin-110805 files/folders to the appropriate folder (if already exists) in my vimfiles folder?
2.) How do you "build the tags file for this document"?
...building tags is new to me.
Thanks,
Sean
