How to distinguish between different OSs in the .vimrc?

Dear Vimers,

is there any way known to distinguish between different OSs in the .vimrc?

E.g.:

if OS='Mac'
  set gfn=Monaco
else
  set gfn=Monospace
end

Help will be much appreciated!
