Unfortunately, while the breakindent patch still applies cleanly to the
Vim sources, it won't compile with the latest version of Vim. I don't
recall the exact patch level that broke it, but it's been that way for a
couple of months now, at least.
Fortunately, the breakage was easy to fix (just a mismatch in function
arguments in one particular line), and I created an updated version of
the patch which does work with the current version of Vim. In fact, I
built 7.3.283 with it this morning.

disclaim all liability in the event that it surreptitiously formats your
hard disk or something equally heinous. ;)
