Use a shortcut instead. Eventually there are also ways to hide the
console.
or create a mapping in Vim:
map <f3> :e file1<bar>e file2<bar>e file3><cr>

is using "start" - which still "flashes" the window probably.
You can just use a shortcut to vim and pass arguments there (right mouse
button, add arguments to the target path)
