Error detected while processing command line:
E486: Pattern not found: <^st
As far as I can work out, this is because macVim is helpfully (?) trying to repeat the last search when opening file A ... and failing because the search was actually valid for file B. But why is it repeating the search anyway? I've only got as far as asking it to open a file!
