Get filename part only from "% with substitute()

:echo substitute(@%, "\..*", "", "")

:echo substitute(@%, "\([^.]\+\)\..*", "\1", "")
Parameters2.html

From :reg
": echo substitute(@%, "\([^.]\+\)\..*", "\1", "")
"% Parameters2.html

So, how should I write this substitute command?
