Fold state voided on buffer switching

Hi all,

When I'm working on a buffer with folding, let's say I unfold a
function, then I switch to another buffer and switch back to the
original buffer, the unfolded function is folded back.

Is there a way to prevent loosing the folding state when cycling buffers ?
