ok... I am happy with this mapping for calculation:
imap <silent> ,= <esc>YpI2 k <esc>A n<esc>!!dc<cr>A<space>
I would like to learn to use !!dc in a function,
but... I am lost, this does not work.

normal! YpI2 k
normal! A n
normal! !!dc<cr>
normal! A
let &lazyredraw = save
endfun
imap <silent> ,= <esc>:call RPN()<cr>
