Try setting 'linebreak' and then converting your text to HTML (which
will let you print with syntax highlights) -- you can display the HTML
in your browser and print from there.

But you say "wrap active and printed as on the sc
reen". I use 'wrap' but not 'linebreak', and on t
he screen, any line longer than 'columns' appears
on several screen lines, and the break between s
uccessive "screen lines" will happen right after
whatever letter is displayed in the rightmost scr
een column -- even in the middle of a word, as in
this paragraph.
